Explosion heard in Tel Aviv

Sources told local media that the explosion took place in the Gush Dan district in the suburb of Tel Aviv, Lebanese Al Mayadeen reported.

There were reports that that a strong explosion was heard in the center of the occupied lands.

Some Hebrew media have said that the sound of the explosion in Tel Aviv was caused by a test conducted by the war ministry. 

Official sources have not yet commented on the cause of the explosion.

It should be mentioned that yesterday Tel Aviv witnessed the martyrdom operation by a Palestinian whose explosive, according to the Israeli sources, belt detonated before reaching the target.

Hamas' Qassam Brigades andIslamic Jihad's Quds Brigades took responsibility for the martyrdom-seeking operation in the capital of the Israeli regime.
